Southold Republican Club
The Object and Purposes
This club is organized:
To provide a practical means by which the Republicans throughout the Town of Southold may effectively contribute to the betterment of the Republican Party.
To support the principles, objective and platform of the Republican Party and to secure the election of all duly nominated Republican candidates.
This club shall not participate in any intra-party differences, nor shall it at any time, without prior certification by the Suffolk County Republican Committee for the Town of Southold, sponsor, support or endorse any candidate for any office other than the regular Republican slate.
To enroll people as members in the Republican Party and to provide an opportunity for them to find political expression and recognition.
To train young people as effective political workers that they may cooperate in the election of the Republican Party’s nominees.
To foster and encourage the activities of the Republican Party and to promote its ideals.
To collect, analyze, discuss and disseminate information concerning political affairs.
To promote the course of good government in the Town of Southold, the County of Suffolk, the State of New York and the United States.
To promote and maintain interest in civic, social and public affairs and to inculcate (instill) in its members the highest ideals of Americanism.
To perform such functions as may best serve the interest of the Republican Party.
